Week 5 update from Room 7
Week 5 has been super busy, with students presenting their Human Rights
Inquiries. What a superb job they have done! Big, bright and bold Human
Rights cubes can be seen hanging from the ceilings of Team B classrooms. We
certainly have learnt a lot about world issues where people have been denied
their rights, with starvation, slavery, racism a few of the many tragic
cases being studied by Team B students. The Team B teachers are looking
forward to seeing the great ideas that come out of focusing on local human
rights issues and how we can can all make a difference in our community.
Skills for Adolescence Health programmes are running throughout the year.
You can see in the photos Room 7 creating the ideal friend, outlining
admirable qualities they look for in a friend.
Congratulations to the following Team B students who were selected to
compete in the Eastern Zone Cross Country:
All that early morning training paid off and now we can all have a wee rest
from daily runs... until this time next year...
Well, we hope you have a great week, keep logging on to hear of the
wonderful things Team B are up to!

Week 4
This week has been one full of activity and lots of great work.
On Monday afternoon Team B students packed into the PAC for an entertaining and informative afternoon listening to our talented group of speech finalists. We learnt about the dangers of cellphones, Indian culture, global warming and much, much more. All of the speeches were great and it made the judges' job a hard one. We finally chose two students to represent Team B at the school finals on Tuesday. Congratulations to Rishabh Maki and Cheyenne Welham!
We ended the week with our school road race. The students all participated enthusiastically and their hard work during cross country training paid off. The weather was stunning and it was a fantastic end to the week.
Keep up the good work, Team B!
